ManorCare Health Services - Montgomeryville celebrates the designation as a MedBridge location. MedBridge is HCR ManorCare’s brand name and brand standards for a higher level of post-acute care. Built upon 38 care and outcome standards, facilities are not granted MedBridge status; they earn it. And MedBridge standards must be maintained over time.
All of HCR ManorCare’s MedBridge units are measured quarterly to ensure that they continue to meet the standards of care and outcomes behind the brand. These standards include:
- Medical and rehabilitation standards
- Physician and nursing standards
- Outcome standards including low rehospitalization rates, high customer service scores and high percentage of patients returning home.
According to Jenna Hoch, Administrator, many of our competitors have created catchy names for their post-acute units, but they’re just that; catchy names. “There are no standards behind their brand, and the brand is not earned. When an HCR ManorCare center earns the MedBridge designation it is a sign that we are committed to quality in post-acute outcomes and care,” said Jenna Hoch.
